✅ Good News for De Bruce Ward!
We’re pleased to share some really positive news from De Bruce ward. Over the last month, reported anti-social behaviour (ASB) incidents have reduced by 77% when compared to the same period last year. This represents a significant improvement and shows the real impact of working together as a community. This reduction has largely been achieved through a joint problem‑solving approach, with key partners and local community groups working collaboratively. By tackling known offenders, sharing timely information, and target‑hardening vulnerable properties, we’ve been able to address the root causes of ASB rather than just the symptoms. This success demonstrates what can be achieved when residents, partner agencies, and community organisations come together with a shared goal of making neighbourhoods safer and more welcoming. Thank you to everyone involved for your commitment, cooperation, and continued support. We’ll keep building on this progress to ensure De Bruce ward remains a place where people feel proud to live. If you have concerns or ideas to help keep the area safe, please continue to engage – your information really does make a difference.
Your next Police Drop in is due to take place at 1pm on Tuesday 5th May at Westview Advice And Resource Centre, Miers Avenue. Come along and speak to your local policing team and be part of the solution to making our communities a safer to place. | ||
